Zodiac Tattoos: Eternal Visions of Tattoos

The zodiac signs…the eternal symbolism of how man wants to take control of his own destiny. The irony though is tat he seeks the guidance of supernatural concepts.
In our age of rational thinking and scientific-based concepts, it is still a great riddle why people entertain anything that works otherwise. It is possibly inherent in man that he follows omens, the positioning of the heavenly beings and the mysterious signs that behold his existence.
The zodiac signs are the pictorial representation of what a man's destiny is like according to the moment of his birth. Both the western and the oriental regions adopt this system of predicting the events in a specific duration of time.
While the zodiacs may appear in other names, the Greek names seem to be more popular. These are the zodiac signs in alphabetical order:
§ Aquarius- water vessel § Aries- ram § Cancer- crab § Capricorn- sea-monster § Gemini- a pair § Leo- lion § Libra- balance § Pisces- fish § Sagittarius- arc and bow or armed with a bow § Scorpio- scorpion § Taurus- bull § Virgo- girl
These names and the pictures that present them have been a subject of great interest in many fields, especially in arts. How many times have we seen endless arrays of individual depictions pertaining to the zodiac signs? And why, with all the choices we have from nature tattoo seekers and artists alike are fond of creating and sporting such designs?
Those two questions may not contain as much mysteries as compared with those that each representation covers. Zodiac signs are valued as primary tattoo design options since anyone can attach his identity towards each zodiac signs.
And that, my friend, is one good characterization in choosing a tattoo design.
When one finds his self-identification in an object, he learns to associate himself with the concept. He now has enough reasons, even though he doesn't not believe the notions of the zodiac themselves, to adopt the signs.
Moreover, zodiac signs had been great sources of creative images. There are possibly thousands of representations created for the 12 individual signs. Some may be more artistic and more creative than others yet all of them posses individual artistic impressions that are inseparable from the elements they display.
Aside from the values that they create (such as Pisces for fish or Leo for lion), they also cover the four major elements that are said to drive the whole of creation and the universe itself.
For the element fire the zodiac signs included are Leo, Aries and Sagittarius. These cover people who are enthusiastic, fiery, romantic, self-sufficient, bossy and have the property of force.
Included in the element of water are the Scorpio, Cancer and Pisces who are said to be receptive, intuitive, deep, responsive, sustaining, emotional, sensitive, self-indulgent, moody and self-pitying. They have the strong tendency to be influenced by their immediate environment.
The element air has Libra, Gemini and Aquarius in its side. These people are intellectual, great communicators, broadminded, idealistic, objective, unprejudiced, impractical and cold.
The earth has Virgo, Taurus and Capricorn who are earthy, conservative, practical, sensual, materialistic, and dull.
Apart from what we have listed in here, there are other attributes that are related directly with the zodiac signs and the natural elements that cover them.
With all these being said, it is easier to say why zodiac sign tattoos are perpetual choices among tattoo seekers- they can be easily associated with the nature of the person himself.
